AR OMEGA gear
Since 2011 I’ve been using the AR Omega, a piece of equipment that allows more dynamic movements when used with the Steadicam.
In normal Steadicam mode, we can only choose between High mode or Low mode shots but, with AR Omega, this limitation no longer exists since the system makes it possible to alternate between High and Low mode in continuous movement.
WHAT DO I
DO?
The AR Omega can be used as a 3rd axis or rollover on any head, or as part of an existing motion control system, allowing exact control over the camera angle and allowing the same movement to be repeated over and over again.
It also includes an app developed by Ruben Sluijter, where rotation movements, angles and speed, can be carried out using the app on an iPhone or iPad.
